Our schools main objective is to teach the fundamentals of capoeira according to Grupo Capoeira Brasil - Mestre Paulinho Sabia. We maintain the traditions of this unique afro-Brazilian martial art form while adding a modern twist.

Capoeira has the power to motivate, inspire, transform and improve all aspects of the human body. By using different methods to facilitate students learning, capoeira improves basic and complex motor skills, improves flexibility, stimulates brain activity and creates a positive social network.

Capoeira Brasil Metro Vancouver strives to create an inclusive environment for everyone to participate. Our friendly capoeira community is made up of people from all ages, genders, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds and skill levels.
